Coronation Supper in the village hall. The menu will be that served for the coronation. Film of coronation showing during evening. Tickets £6 per head are now available from 01263 577263 - bring your own drink.

Chidlren's Drawing Competition
To complement this exhibition we are holding a competition for children to draw a picture of the Queen. We will divide the entries into three age brackets: under 5, 5-8 and 9-12. All entries will on view in the church during the exhibition, the winner of each age group will be awarded a prize and the winning entries will be sent to the Queen after the event.
Please send your entries with your name and address on the back by 14th May to PCC Secretary, Ash Tree Farm, Baconsthorpe NR25 6LF.

The Union flag will be raised with trumpet fanfares on the new pole on the bank outside the Village Hall at 7:15 pm to the accompaniment of fanfares. Hempstead's traditional patriotic songs 'Rule, Britannia' and 'Land of Hope and Glory' will be sung to the accompaniment of a brass ensemble kindly provided by Gresham's (song sheets will be provided). Song-sheets will be provided and everyone is warmly invited to come and take part in celebrating this historic and happy event which will be followed by Hempstead Jubilee Feast, with traditional Hog Roast, or vegetarian option. Prices as before: £9 adults, £5 under 15s.Bring your own bottles.
